FAQ'S
Q: Do I have to pay for a Color Guard, Honor Guard, or any other flag presentations?
A: No, everything is free of charge!

Q: How do I know what kind of Color Guard is best for me?
A: Fill out a Color Guard request on the tab above or contact the Color Guard Coordinator directly. They will reply as soon as possible to help find the best Color Guard for you!

Q: Who will perform the Color Guard?
A: Cadets from the Missouri 81st Air Force JROTC unit at Lafayette High School in Wildwood, MO.

Q: How long would it take for cadets to set up for a Color Guard?
A: It would depend on the type of Color Guard.  Normally it would take around 30 minutes to rehearse and get set up.

Q: What is the difference between a Color Guard and an Honor Guard?
A: A Color Guard is a simple ceremony performed at informal events.  Honor guards are performed in more formal settings, such as homecoming games, Veterans Day ceremonies, 9/11 ceremonies, banquets, etc. When cadets perform Honor Guards, they dress in their full service dress uniform, and may wear gloves, hats, ascots, special shoulder cords, medals, etc.

Football Games

We can perform Color Guard ceremonies before football games in the STL area. View the pictures below.

Parades

Cadets lead and march in the veterans day parade every year downtown. We also participate in homecoming parades, and local city parades.

Ceremonies/honor guards

Cadets perform formal Color Guards at events like the All Academies Military Ball, Veterans Day celebrations, graduations, and other formal events.

History of the flag presentation

Our History of the flag presentation is basically a flag history lesson. We start with the first United States flag, and work our way up to the flag we have now. Each flag is carried up on stage and a brief description of each flag is given. Watch the video below to view our flag presentation! (Skip to 7:00 to view our presentation)

Large Venues/ arenas

Finally, we perform Color Guards at cardinal games, MMA fights, the St. Charles family arena, and many more.
