This morning cadets performed a 9/11 ceremony for the Lafayette student body, faculty, and staff. Also, our local firemen and police forces.
Remember those that died on September 9th 2001.

Our cadets had a lot of fun today speaking to all incoming freshman students about all the opportunity's JROTC has to offer!

Cadet's performed their signature "History Of The Flag Presentation" For the schools veterans day ceremony. Cadet Jimmie Kirtley was the narrator. Cadet's Grace Kirtley and Vrisha Jagdish performed the national anthem. Cadet Luedloff came on the trip and recorded the whole ceremony and put the video on YouTube.

After school cadets were leading the parade right behind Officer Widdis (Lafayette's school resource officer) holding flags and marching in formation. Soon after the parade cadets ate at a tailgate set up by the JROTC parents association. Finally, 10 cadets including Ryan Luedloff, Andrew Ruesch, Clare Bueckendorf, Camille Komrosky-Licata, Hayden Haggerty, Kurtis Amburn, Jimmy Kirtley, Chris Dicarlo, Andrew Teague, and Josh Reyna performed a formal color guard at the football game.

Lafayette principle Dr.S said a few words in addition to "Taps" being played by Cadet Melissa Northem and the flag being raised to half staff in memory of those who lost their lives during 9/11/01.
